Set Up Your Car Radio with Ease

1. Locate Your Radio ID (ESN/RID)

To activate your radio, you’ll need its unique Radio ID (also called ESN or RID):

• Tune your radio to Channel 0 to display the Radio ID. Write it down, as it’s required for activation.
• For vehicles with Uconnect® systems, press the Assist button on the rearview mirror and follow the on-screen prompts to retrieve the ID.

2. Check Signal Connection

Verify your radio is receiving a satellite signal:

• Tune to Preview Channel 1 or Channel 184. If you hear audio, your radio is connected to the satellite.

3. Activate Your Subscription

Once you have your Radio ID, activate your subscription:

• Activation typically takes 10–15 minutes but may require up to an hour.
• Keep your radio powered on during this time to ensure successful activation.

If you encounter issues after activation:

• If channels are missing, request a signal refresh by contacting your service provider or calling us at +1(866) 240-6871.
